The Sedgwick-Brooklin Historical Society is centered in the Daniel Merrill House. This structure, built in 1795, serves as the Society’s headquarters and museum, and was built by the townspeople for the first settled minister. Also part of the Historic District are the 1794 town meetinghouse, one room schoolhouse, hearse house, town pound, town common, and rural cemetery.
