The Fisher House

The Fisher House, which Reverend Fisher built in 1814 in Blue Hill Maine, is filled with the personal effects of Reverend Fisher, many of which were made by his own hands. The house is on the National Register of Historic Places and with the surrounding fields and gardens, is the focal point for the activities of the Jonathan Fisher Memorial.

The Jonathan Fisher Memorial is a member of the National Trust and was founded in 1954 with the mission: "To perpetuate the memory, spirit, works, and teachings of the Reverend Jonathan Fisher and to preserve at Blue Hill and elsewhere, his home, relics and other things of his life, and of his descendants and of the period in which he lived in order that his life may serve as an inspiration to others."

The Fisher House is open to visitors Tuesday-Saturday from 2-5 pm, July to mid September. Admission is $2.00. We are very interested in building our membership. Please contact us for information on how to join and receive newsletters and other updates.
