Our resort is year-round, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Summer offerrs many interesting activities such as the Bay Festival Celebration, The Holy Mackerel Fishing Tournament, Annual Sea Food Festival, windjamer cruises, sailing, deep sea fishing and coastline sight seeing trips and all only minutes away. Autumn is also an exciting time to visit Maine with warm days and cool nights, thousands of folks are attracted by the vivid hues of Fall foliage as Penobscot Bay Mirrors the red, orange and gold of the season.In November down east is a sportsman's delight as the surrounding forest is abound with game, including deer and bear. In winter we have snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. |
| The twenty-two squares miles of Mount Desert Island that form Acadia National Parkis the third largest island on the east coast. Excellent roads traverse the park and scenic ocean drive follows the island's entire eastern perimeter. Fifty-seven miles of carriage paths are open to hickers, bicyclists, horseback riders and carriage, and during the Winter these roads become popular cross-country skiing trails. |
